In this book, Muwaffaq al-Dīn Ibn Qudāmah discusses the Huruf of the Quran and whether they are created or eternal. He clarifies the errors made by the Asha’ira when they responded to the Mu’tazila concerning this topic.
He continues his style of authorship found in his other works by bringing Ayat and Ahadith as evidences rather than relying on the ways of the Mutakalimeen.
Like as in the Ithbat Sifa al-‘Uluw course, Shaykh Yusuf, who is well versed in both Hanbali aqidah and the science of Hadith, will not only explain the book but comment on the asanid of the Ahadith quoted.
