Al-Safārīnī’s refutation

Number of classes: 4 (1 hour per class)

This course consists of an explanation of the short pamphlet of Imām al-Safārīnī, in which he refutes those who view following books of fiqh impermissible because they are a supposed innovation. This course is beneficial to be studied together or after Ibn Rajab’s refutation, because they both focus on defending the classical scholarly way of seeking/learning knowledge. From the aspect of building a good methodology and solidifying one’s practice both books are very important.

This course has ended, completion is through recordings.
