In this book, Shaykh Muwaffaq al-Dīn Ibn Qudāmah details the Ḥanbalī position regarding Allāh’s lofty Attribute al-‘Ulluw. Expounding on the topic in Athari fashion Ibn Qudamah mainly keeps to presenting Quranic ayat, and narrating ahadith and statements of companions and prominent scholars of the Ummah.
Ithbat Sifah al-‘Uluww is therefore an important resource when it comes to the foundational proofs of this subject, and should be a resource any serious student should engage with and try to grasp.
Apart from passing on this valuable text, Mawlana Shaykh Yusuf bin Sadiq al-Hanbali, who is well versed in both Hanbali aqidah and the science of Hadith, will add commentary, enriching the book and opening its content for the students.
